For many years, TemcoUK Facility Services have used a time and attendance system to manage their staff. This is not a Big Brother a system designed to look over employees’ shoulders all the time, but a proactive method of managing a remote and fragmented workforce with optimum efficiency.
The starting point of the Isys Time and Attendance system is to input the data on what you expect from each member of staff. Staff then clock in and out using their phones, a fob reader or biometric ID. The system then compares what should have happened with what did happen and raises any anomalies.
Other advantages include the enhanced ability to plan holidays and shifts, as well as tracking training and competencies. To give a complete overview, each profile is linked to the relevant personnel file. It even defines pension requirements.
