CHAS Accreditation for Temco
Temco is delighted to announce that it has achieved full Contractor Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) accreditation.
CHAS is established as the market leader for health and safety pre-qualification in the UK. It is a non-commercial scheme available to suppliers and to organisations looking for suitably competent suppliers. The aim of the scheme is to save time and resources by avoiding unnecessary duplication in the first stage of competence assessment.
Temco’s Managing Director, Andrew Philpot is pleased but not wholly surprised at the outcome.
“Temco passed following a thorough audit and inspection process, which is gratifying, although health and safety compliance is at the core of everything we do so I had every expectation of doing so. It was satisfying to pass first time though and will save us a good deal of time when applying for tenders in future.”
